UbiPharm Côte d'Ivoire was Diamond Sponsor of the 9th edition of the National Order of Pharmacists' Days of Côte d'Ivoire held from October 6 to 7 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. This year's theme is: "The practice of pharmacy in Côte d'Ivoire: issues, challenges and prospects".
This annual event, organized by a committee appointed by the National Order of Pharmacists of Côte d'Ivoire, brought together all pharmacists from the health sector and wholesale distributors from the country, as well as laboratories.
The show was punctuated by discussions on topics related to health and pharmacy, allowing to project and reflect on the developments and the many challenges of the profession.
Dr Olivier BLÉ, General Manager of UbiPharm Côte d'Ivoire, also participated in a round table discussion under the theme of : "The pharmacy of tomorrow in Côte d'Ivoire". He explained that in terms of stakes, UbiPharm must guarantee the availability, quality, safety and traceability of the products it distributes, under satisfactory quality of service conditions for the pharmacist. And this, despite the existing challenges often related to crisis contexts. He also stressed the importance of strengthening the capacity of quality control structures at national and global levels so that upstream of distribution, products go through pre-marketing and post-marketing controls.
